Febuary has come and is almost gone!

It seems like we haven't done much since I last posted, but now that I think of it I guess we have...

My brother and his family came home for a visit a couple of weeks ago. Zeke is getting so big already! I didn't get any good pictures of him while they were here, but here is one they sent us from around the same time.


We went to Gatlinburg with the teenagers from our church this last weekend for Winterfest. We had a really good time and were reminded that we need to Know Jesus, Be Jesus, See Jesus & the final "Mission" of Sharing Jesus. Our walk isn't just about calling ourselves Christians. We have to know who Christ is and be like him. We also need to throw off the prejudices of the world and see Jesus in others instead of seeing the physical side of being humans. It was a great weekend and some very good lessons learned!

The last day we were there a skit was performed that I've seen before but it always brings a tear to my eye. It is very powerful and no words are needed. Please take the time to watch this video (it's not the same people, but it is the same skit). I hope it touches your life and heart like it did ours. Dont ever give up on yourself because Jesus is awesome and is ALWAYS there & pulling for us!!!!

Dain is also about to install a new heat & air unit in our home. He has nursed the one we currently have (which is original to the house...22 years old) through the last 3 summers. It would probably be a miracle if it made it through this summer & our summer electric bills are getting very HIGH because it runs constantly when the A/C is on. Thank goodness for tax return refunds that made this purchase possible!!! =)
