Update on us and GREAT NEWS!!

It's been a while since I've posted a blog....so here it goes.

Not much has been happening with us. Dain's been working a lot with this new job, but he loves it! I just got back to work today after taking 3 1/2 days off. It was nice to be off, but I sure didn't want to get up this morning and come in. The dogs are doing good too. Mollie hasn't had any more problems and is loving to be loved on and played with. Lollie and her and getting along great and playing so well together! They went on a rabbit hunt together early Sunday morning...well actually Lollie found the rabbit under the deck and chased it ALL over the yard and up and down our fire wood pile (yes....Lollie ran up and down the wood pile chasing the rabbit)while Mollie sat on the deck and watched her. You could tell Mollie was thinking "she has lost her mind"....this went on for a good 30 - 45 minutes and Lollie kept wanting to go back outside all day to find that rabbit. I wish I had a picture or better yet a video of it, because I promise you would laugh out loud, but I don't!

I asked for your prayers a few weeks ago for our friends Monica and Jamie. Madison, their baby, has been out of NICU and home from the hospital for about 2 weeks and is doing GREAT! Monica had her brain surgery on Thursday of last week and even though it was a LONG surgery (2 hours of prep and 7 hours of surgery) she came thru great! The tumor was benign and they got it all. Praise the Lord!!!! She actually went home yesterday and is doing wonderful!!! Thanks for your prayers!!

Our friend Brandon went back to Iraq for his 4th tour this past weekend. It was sad to see him go...we're sure going to miss hanging out with him. Brandy is already having a hard time with him being gone, so please keep her and him in your prayers. They are wonderful friends and I know it's going to be a long and hard 4 months for both of them.

I guess that's all I've got this time around! Sorry I don't have any pictures to post!! I've got to do better about carrying a camera with me!
